It's a fascinating piece that would serve as an excellent first reading in an upper level undergraduate or graduate level survey course in metaphysics. Yet, it seems impossible to engage in metaphysical inquiry if we do not have a very clear understanding of what metaphysical knowledge is about. I'm certainly not an expert in these areas, but I really like EJ Lowe's "A Survey of Metaphysics" (OUP, 2002).
